Our Northwest Noggin undergraduate and graduate outreach volunteers are both enthusiastic and informed, and regularly let knowledge serve by going places and listening to the questions and interests of community members in urban and rural K-12 public schools, coffee shops, correctional facilities, houseless youth nonprofits, research conferences and more!
So what is it like to do outreach?
We regularly explore topics in neuroscience research and write up posts that describe where we went, what we discussed, the art we made and the scientific studies that we brought up in classrooms and other public spaces. You can learn more about these experiences at the link!
