NogginFest began in 2017, to showcase exciting research, awesome musicians and compelling, brain-related art! The legendary Fort George Brewery in Astoria often donates drinks, and we’ve held, intrigued and gained insight into brains with anyone curious about learning more!
Through art sales, beer sales and generous donations, we’ve managed to send our informed and enthusiastic outreach volunteers from Portland State University and other area institutions to multiple Society for Neuroscience conferences to present on innovative, interdisciplinary community outreach…
…AND meet students in local public schools from the Pacific Northwest to San Diego, Chicago and Washington DC!
