Come join us for our annual celebration of art, music, and, of course, brains! This is the largest student-run, accessible, public celebration of interdisciplinary neuroscience in the Pacific Northwest!

And it’s FREE!!

This year, for pandemic safety, we’re going online (Zoom link on the way). Yet this means that *YOU* can hear great music, enjoy compelling art, ask burning brain questions and hear from accomplished neuroscientists – from ANYWHERE!

We are thrilled to announce three extraordinary speakers, Dr. Chris Stauffer, who will share his extensive work on psychedelics, Dr. Heather Zwickey, who will delve into the gut-brain axis, and Gail Stonebarger, who will explain what she’s learned from studying the oldest monkey brains in the world! There will be audience opportunities to ask questions.

We’ll also showcase some of Portland’s mind-expanding musicians! We’re extraordinarily honored to welcome Fish Martinez (2 8 Tha Native), indie rock band Stellaruse and classical guitarist Ryan Walsh.

We’ll also host a live art auction before and during the event, with ALL proceeds supporting the artists, and student outreach volunteers (many from the Portland State University Neuroscience Club) who will present (COVID-permitting) at the Society for Neuroscience conference in Chicago and visit with local K12 students to talk cutting edge brain research and make art!

Our event is FREE and open to all ages who would like to come and appreciate neuroscience, art, music and brains!
