In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

TedXMtHood speakers include Damien Fair from Behavioral Neuroscience at OHSU, Adrienne Nelson, a Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge, Charles Magee, founder of Portland’s Black Parent Initiative, and Chad Fez Gaetz, an artist known for his large scale interactive works…

NW Noggin will offer brains, art and neuroscience volunteers (from 10:30 – 11:30am, and again from 1:30 – 3:00pm). Our participants will receive lunch and have the chance to hear from and meet TedX speakers!
