From the collection at IMSS…

The International Museum of Surgical Science is an extraordinary repository of great art and history covering the origins and continued development of the practice of surgical medicine.

NW Noggin volunteers are honored to present brains and art projects in the museum from 1 – 3pm, followed by a tour of the collections! Our great thanks to staff at IMSS for welcoming us to Chicago…

“The idea that my sucker is moving through thought itself, through emotion and reason, that memories, dreams and reflections should consist of jelly, is simply too strange to understand.”― Neurosurgeon Henry Marsh
