Week 2 of our 2015 Summer Outreach Program is complete! Our participants had an action (potential) packed week of neuroscience and art integrated activities and lessons.
To learn about the visual system, participants at Jason Lee created their own after-images!
Our students with the MESA program got the unique opportunity to tour four different neuroscience research labs at WSU-Vancouver!
The Boys & Girls Club in Vancouver had a larger than life, paint-splattered lesson on neurotransmitters!
Sabin students got hands-on with the nervous system, creating movable paper robots!
These are just a few examples of the many original lessons and activities created by NW Noggin participants! We’re approaching the final week of the Summer Program, and have plenty more to teach, learn, create, and explore!
Stay tuned, and be sure to peruse each Summer Program site page for even more pictures, lesson plans, and activities!
