WHAT: American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) meeting
WHERE: Franklin High School, 5405 SE Woodward St, Portland, OR 97206; Room G018 (the building right next to the football field, not the main school building!)
WHEN: Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 6:00 – 8:00pm
We did this! The AMWA members serve as high school mentors, and wanted to learn more about our arts-integrated community outreach. Our volunteers talked about career opportunities, their own work in labs, as counselors, as undergraduates…
We brought along brains and made more neurons out of pipe cleaners… 🙂
