The p:ear gallery is thrilled to present Jeff Leake’s Inner Landscapes.
A Bay Area native, Jeff Leake holds a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from UC Davis. Fascinated with the origin and nature of our inner landscapes, he works alongside neuroscience faculty at Portland State University to teach art and neuroscience there and around the Portland area.
Also the co-founder and art coordinator of NW Noggin, an art and neuroscience outreach group, Jeff has travelled around the country to give lectures on neuroscience and art, and has lectured on art and drugs for Science On Tap, the Portland Art Museum, and the Washington State Psychological Association.
Along the way, Jeff has shown his artwork nationally and internationally. He currently lives and works in sunny Portland, Oregon with his wife, kids, and three dogs.
In addition to showing his work in the p:ear gallery, Jeff will be facilitating art workshops for p:ear youth, and youth artwork will be shown alongside Jeff’s at the the Inner Landscapes shows.
