A discussion of neurotransmitters... Volunteers will introduce anatomy and physiology of brain networks/pathways involving specific neurotransmitters, including dopamine, norepinephrine, acetylcholine, serotonin...

Volunteers will discuss brain development with middle school students.  What skills do students feel they've improved over the last year  -  and where in their brains are network connections changing..? We'll bring brains (extra brains!), and Jeff will have a large brain poster and sticky notes for students to paste descriptions…

Volunteers and site coordinators for our series of 4 - 6 outreach visits to biology classrooms at Fort Vancouver High School are meeting to plan classes and activities at the McMenamin's Chapel Pub in NE Portland... Fort biology teachers will join us there too.
