The PSU Center for Internship, Mentoring, and Research (CIMR) Summer Research Academy is coming up soon! We need information from you in preparation of your arrival and participation in SRA. The event is 3 days of activities held in-person on the PSU campus.

What is the Summer Research Academy?
Summer Research Academy (SRA) is designed to engage undergraduate students interested in making a difference in their communities by pursuing research opportunities in STEM, biomedical, behavioral, clinical, health, and social sciences. Students do not have to have prior research experience to participate!
The goals of SRA are to provide undergraduate students an introduction to what research is, how it’s developed and conducted, and where to find relevant research opportunities! Participants will hear from a range of professional researchers in their respective fields, panel discussions by undergraduate and graduate students involved in research, and get to know the different undergraduate research opportunities available at PSU and other universities.
Improve their understanding of research
Increase awareness of research opportunities
Be introduced to research career paths and meet professionals
Connect with professional development opportunities and events related to research
APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, MAY 24!!
Participants will receive $250 for attending all 3–days of programming (June 18, 20, and 21, 2024). Breakfast/lunch and snacks are provided! If you are a student (or research opportunity) and have any questions, please email us at summerresearch@pdx.edu.
