Jeff Leake and Bill Griesar head to Chicago this week to present a poster on NW Noggin STEAM outreach efforts in both formal and informal settings – everything from K-12 schools to theaters, art museums, breweries, conferences, homeless youth outreach centers, and bike shop pubs 🙂
We’ll present at the McCormick Place Conference Center on Sunday, October 18, from 8:00am – noon. If you’re attending the Society for Neuroscience conference, please stop by – our poster address is: Hall A, 26.10SU / DD40.
We’ll also present our poster on Saturday, October 17th, from 2:00 – 4:00pm, for an SfN Brain Awareness event titled “Sparking Connections Through Brain Awareness Around the Globe…” This event will take place in the McCormick Place North Building, in Room 427.
This poster represents the incredible work of so many excellent, accomplished volunteers from WSU Vancouver, PSU, OHSU and PNCA. We wish they could join us again this year!
Thanks are also due the Neuroscience department at WSU Vancouver, one of the strongest supporters of STEAM outreach in the Portland/Vancouver area. We are grateful that WSUV Neuroscience continues to help NW Noggin reach a national audience at SfN.
