If someone with Alzheimers remembers something\, does the memory come back? \n2. What happens if we get hit on the back of the head\, and you lose our memory? \n3. How much time does your brain live after you die? \n4. Is your mental and physical health equally important when trying to keep your brain healthy? \n5. When we are experiencing intense stress and violence in our lives\, is there anything we can do at an individual level to help protect and support our brain? \n6. Can the brain continue to learn and develop throughout life? \n7. Regarding brain diseases (cognitive decline)\, are people aware that they have lost something\, or do they not know? \n8. Do your brain cells work when you sleep? \n9. If you are in a coma: do you feel anything around you? What happens when you wake up? \n \n \n \nWHERE: British International School\, 9835+VGG\, Aldahdooh Street\, Tel Al Hawa\, Gaza Strip VIA ZOOM (link available to participating volunteers) \nWHEN: Monday\, April 21st from 8:00am – 9:30am Pacific (6:00 – 7:30pm in Gaza); this is a follow up after our previous virtual visits on Thursday\, February 13 and Tuesday\, March 4. \n \nDuring our first two visits to BIS\, we discussed compelling student questions about the brain\, and introduced our found object brain cell project. We also shared some cells created by our Northwest Noggin volunteers. \nNoggins in Gaza\n \nLEARN MORE: Found Object Brain Cells \nFor this next visit the youth in Gaza will share their own brain cell creations\, and we’ll learn about the objects used\, and the significance and stories behind the objects chosen. \n \nWe are super excited to meet and learn with these wonderful young people again. \n \nCOMMITTED PARTICIPANTS\n1. Bill Griesar\, PSU/OHSU/NW Noggin\n2. Jeff Leake\, PSU/NW Noggin\n3. Natalie Robison\, UW\n4. Salma Nassar\, PSU/OHSU\n5. Becky Callos\, PSU\n6.
