Why do ‘brain eating amoeba’ live in warm water?\nIf cells in our body are constantly dividing then why is there dementia?\nWhat is the dura mater?\nWhy do brains have ventricles?\nWhat’s the coolest thing you’ve learned about the brain through research?\nWhat’s your favorite psychological theory?\nIs homosexuality dependent on the brain?\nWhat causes headaches?\nIf there are no pain receptors in the brain why do we get headaches?\nWhat happens if a brain gets split?\nWhy are people ticklish  –  but you can’t tickle yourself? \n \n \n \n \n \n \nWe are super-excited to return to Fort!\nLast year Vancouver Public Schools changed their high school start times to a more reasonable 8:40am\, based partly on neuroscience research presented in classrooms by Northwest Noggin outreach volunteers! \nCOME JOIN US!\nPlease email griesar@pdx.edu and jleake@pdx.edu to get involved 🙂 \nCOMMITTED PARTICIPANTS\n1.
