DESCRIPTION:WHAT: Noggin visit to Bridge to Pathways residential drug/alcohol treatment program \nWe did it!\nHope through Change\nThis week\, NW Noggin returned to the amazing Bridges to Pathways Residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in historic St. Helens\, Oregon\, about 30 miles west of Portland. \nREAD MORE\n \n \n \nWHERE: Columbia Community Mental Health\, 58646 McNulty Way\, St Helens\, OR 97051 \nWHEN: Thursday\, May 19\, 2021; 11:00am – 1:00pm \nContact: Rain Marie Carroll\, ​MS\, QMHP\, CADC-R \nWe’re excited to meet with residents and providers in St. Helens! \nSee what we did at Pathways last fall! \nPathways Under Change\n\nFrom Rain Marie Carroll\, the Residential Clinical Administrator \n\nPathways Residential Treatment Facility: Pathways is a 16-bed substance use disorder treatment center. The facility is not gender specific. Clients complete ~8 hours of SUDs treatment programming and individual counseling sessions with our Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors each day.\nAlternatives Residential Treatment Facility: Alternatives is a 9-bed treatment facility for individuals that are under the jurisdiction of Oregon’s Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB). This occurs when an individual commits a felony and successfully pleads guilty with the exception of insanity. The facility is not gender specific. Clients are required to complete a set number of group and individual counseling hours each week. Clients are assigned to a level system\, and they are afforded greater freedom as they achieve lower levels.\nCornerstone Residential Treatment Facility: Cornerstone is a 16-bed treatment facility for individuals that are suffering with severe\, persistent mental illness. The facility is not gender specific. This is the least restrictive facility as clients are not required to complete any group or individual counseling sessions.\nBridge to Pathways Medical Detoxification Center: We provide detoxification services for all substances except benzodiazepines. Students will listen to an intro and presentation from the brilliant folks of NWNoggin and then create artwork in response. I have ordered an array of pipecleaners\, fuzzy pom pom balls\, beads\, elastic string\, glue\, cotton swabs\, rubber bands\, and nitrile gloves. I will also spend the week drumming up any random materials I come across.
