Make art! \nFREE COFFEE AND SNACKS PROVIDED BY YOUR TEACHING FACULTY! \nWe’ll bring the extra noggins and pile up the pipe cleaners for a fun afternoon of crafting and discovery. Learn about PSU’s unique interdisciplinary neuroscience minor\, directly examine specimens\, create your own brain cell and hear about the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Association! \n \nLEARN MORE: Interdisciplinary Neuroscience minor at PSU \nALSO: Explore innovative education abroad opportunities in Valparaíso\, Chile  –  an extraordinary art-filled coastal city where foundational neuroscience research on how neurons carry electrical messages continues utilizing the giant axons of the Humboldt squid! \n \nLEARN MORE: PSU Faculty-Led Chile: Valparaiso – Arte y Cerebros en Chile \nLEARN MORE: Las neuronas son bacánes! \n73 undergraduates! 🤯\n \nThat’s how many students at Portland State University have completed their #interdisciplinary #neuroscience minor requirements since the minor launched during a global pandemic in 2021. Huge thanks for the fantastic volunteer efforts of students and teaching faculty\, who’ve done so much with **minimal** institutional investment but tremendous community and national/international engagement and support 🥰
