Clubs provide enrichment programs to youth while empowering them with a sense of belonging and security.”  \nLEARN MORE: Boys and Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area \n3:30 -4pm: set up (including brain map project)\n4-4:45 pm: 1st – 6th graders\n5-5:45 pm: 7th – 12th graders \n \nFrom Julia: “Before NW Noggins visits\, the kids will write their questions about the brain on sticky notes. The activities will begin by answering those questions and learning from kids what they already know about the brain. Next\, they will have the opportunity to directly interact with human and non-human animal brains. The youth will then make neurons out of pipe cleaners\, whereas the teens will make gel prints.
