DESCRIPTION:We’re collaborating with the Northeast Oregon Area Health Education Center (NEOAHEC) and with Greater Oregon STEM (GO-STEM) to discuss neuroscience research\, make art and examine real human brains with students at the FREE MedQuest Camp in La Grande\, Oregon!  \n \nWe did it! Click the link to learn more…\nLTP in La Grande\n \nWHAT: NW Noggin arts & brains @ NEOAHEC MedQuest Camp \nWHERE: Eastern Oregon University\, One University Blvd\, La Grande\, OR 97850 \nWHEN: Thursday\, June 20 – Saturday\, June 22 \nCONTACT: Brittany Hargrove\, Administrative and Outreach Coordinator\, Northeast Oregon Area Health Education Center \nWe’ll drive to La Grande on Thursday\, June 20\, and work with ~75 students on Friday\, June 21\, and another 75 more on Saturday morning (6/22)… \nThursday\, June 20th\nDrive to La Grande\, Oregon \nWe arrived! \n \n\n261 miles from Portland;  4.5 hour drive\nSTAY: Alikut Hall\, Eastern Oregon University \n \nThis is the EOU dorm you will be staying in. If you are coming up the 6th Street hill\, continue to drive past the main part of campus and then turn left on G Avenue. Drive past the Fitness Center and turn left once you see a building with a red roof.  \n \n5 P.M. – Arrive at Alikut Hall. (MEREDITH LAIR will meet you to provide dorm keys). Please only park vehicles that you need immediate access to in the Alikut parking lot. Other vehicles can be parked in the gravel lot at Community Stadium.\n6 P.M. – Dinner at EOU’s Hoke Cafeteria \n \nFriday\, June 21st\nEastern Oregon University\, One University Blvd\, La Grande\, OR 97850\nBrains\, art and questions! 8:00am – 3:00pm\nSTAY: Alikut Hall\, Eastern Oregon University\n \nWe did it! \n \n***7 A.M. – Breakfast in Hoke Cafeteria\n7:30 A.M. – Set up in Ackerman Hall 210\, Eastern Oregon University\n8 A.M. – NW Noggin brain activities\n12 P.M. – Lunch for volunteers catered in Huber Auditorium (BH 102)\n1 P.M. – Camp wrap-up in EOU Huber Auditorium (Badgley Hall 102). NW Noggin volunteers welcome to attend! \n \n \n5 P.M. – Dinner courtesy of GO-STEM!!
