Sam Jackson Park Road\, Portland\, Oregon 97239 \nWHEN: Tuesday\, May 14\, 2:30 – 3:30pm \n \n“For a Ph.D. holder\, the idea that any career can be classified as ‘alternative’ is obsolete.” –Ashrifia Adomako-Ankomah \nAsk questions and hear panelists (including Bill Griesar of NW Noggin) discuss a range of career paths for Ph.D. science graduates… \n \nSpeakers in this Research Week panel will discuss how to make career transitions from academic research into areas of software engineering\, product development\, science communication\, and other professions. Panelists will answer questions about how they transitioned from academia into outside careers and the skills to focus on to best make this transition. \n \nResearch Week\, the annual celebration of OHSU research\, showcases the work performed by faculty\, students\, research staff\, postdocs and others across the entire university.
